The hall of a million feathers is a room in Caerlaverock Castle, that was created by author James Arber for his novel, "The Ornithologist's Wife."

The book describes it by the following passage: "The guilds-work glistened proudly; time had in no way diminished the splendors of this castle."
When Steve Korbitz finds out that James made it up, he orders the hall to be created along with other serious reconstruction on the castle so that Lara will not be disappointed.
